On Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at 2PM, Cantor Vera Broekhuysen, Congregation Beth El, Sudbury, MA; Rob Hammerton, choir director, Sudbury UMC, Sudbury, MA; and Kevin Murphy, AAGO, music director, Sudbury UMC, Sudbury, MA will present a song circle titled "Songs of struggling together".
Come for an hour on Saturday, May 2 to hear and learn songs from both the Jewish and Methodist traditions that touch upon the topic of resistance and struggle. Vera, Rob and Kevin will gather guests and musicians from both congregations in Davison Chapel to form a singing circle in which we will introduce and teach songs from a variety of artists. No preparation or equipment is necessary - just bring your voice and a willingness to learn a few new songs concerning the spiritual, social and political struggles we all experience at present. All are welcome!
The circle will take place in Davison Chapel, Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, Massachusetts. Admission is free and open to the public.
