Arts Wayland Gallery, 35 Andrew Avenue, Wayland, MA

FREE and open to everyone. Registration encouraged.

Join Arts Wayland for a unique afternoon of live music, storytelling, visual art, and inspiring conversation with Woody Giessmann, former drummer of The Del Fuegos, accomplished painter, author, and longtime recovery counselor.

Woody's remarkable journey has taken him from performing at Madison Square Garden and touring with rock legends to helping individuals and families navigate addiction and recovery. Through original songs performed on piano and entertaining, sometimes hilarious stories from his years in rock and roll, Woody shares powerful insights about resilience, creativity, and finding a new path forward.

The event will also showcase Woody's vibrant gouache paintings inspired by New Orleans jazz musicians and the Rolling Stones, drawing on his personal experiences and relationships with legendary performers. Selected paintings will remain on exhibit at the Arts Wayland Gallery throughout November and December, while additional works will be displayed exclusively during this event.

Celebrate the powerful connections between music, visual art, mental health, and recovery at this special Arts Wayland presentation.
