Conservation Commission Rejects Project, Developer Appeals
The Conservation Commission cited wetlands concerns for rejecting the apartment complex project.
WAYLAND, MA—A developer trying to build an apartment complex with three affordable units on School Street in Wayland was denied a permit from the Conservation Commission. Chris D'Antonio has since filed an appeal, according to reports.
The commission voted 3-2 on Sept. 27 to deny the permit for the Windsor Place project, which would be built under a law that bypasses local zoning regulations, reports Wicked Local Wayland. The commission cited wetlands concerns. D'Antonio is seeking approval through the Department of Environmental Protection.
