Contractor Steals Jewelry, Electronics While Working In Home

A Framingham man is facing charges for stealing from a home at which he worked.

WAYLAND, MA — A man working at a home in Wayland is facing charges for allegedly stealing from that home while working.

On Thursday, March 9, a Wayland resident reported to police that a past larceny had occurred at their residence while they had contractors at the residence for work being done on March 6.

Wayland Det. Sgt. Jamie Berger found that one of the workers at the residence had stolen electronics and jewelry that belonged to the resident. The jewelry was recovered in Brockton.

The defendant, Kelly A. Walker, 36, Framingham, admitted to the theft and was subsequently summonsed to Framingham District Court for arraignment, which will occur on May 2 for one count of larceny more than $250.
