WAYLAND, MA -- As a precaution, officials at the Loker School in Wayland ordered a shelter to be in place on Tuesday afternoon. A coyote had been spotted near the playground in the woods, <a href="http://wayland.wickedlocal.com/news/20160119/wayland-school-orders-shelter-in-place-due-to-coyote" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">reports MetroWest Daily News</a>. No students came in contact with the coyote, and students were not allowed to walk home from school.
