
WAYLAND, MA -- As a precaution, officials at the Loker School in Wayland ordered a shelter to be in place on Tuesday afternoon.
A coyote had been spotted near the playground in the woods, reports MetroWest Daily News.
No students came in contact with the coyote, and students were not allowed to walk home from school.
