The Crack! Of Spring: Little League Opens In Wayland
With practices starting in March, games are ready to begin by the end of April.

WAYLAND, MA—Players and coaches officially kicked off their season on March 26 with indoor workouts and practices, but the season for Wayland Little League Baseball and Softball will begin soon.
It's the third year in a row that registrations have increased, and Wayland Little League Baseball and Softball now has nearly 400 kids participating in the spring program.
Baseball and softball programs are offered for K-9 at all skill levels, including a select Little League national tournament team for baseball (grades 5-6). The league also offers summer and fall programs.

Games begin at the end of April, and all Wayland families are welcome to join for the annual Wayland Little League Parade and Picnic, Saturday, May 6, at Cochituate Field (rain date Sunday May 7).
Parents coaches and kids will march from the Wayland Middle School parking lot at approximately 10:15 a.m. to the Cochituate Ballfields where there will be an afternoon of food, fun and prizes celebrating the Little League program from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
