Crazy Cute Mini Horses, Wazz! Kitchen at Winter Farmer's Market

This week, in addition to the variety of vendors available, has a few special additions.

Each week, Russell’s Garden Center holds its Winter Farmer’s Market, which kicked off last Saturday (the season continues through Feb. 7).

There are as many as 65 vendors weekly, featuring foods and offerings from many local and regional businesses.

Last week, Russell’s welcomed new vendors such as Crooked Row Fields, Bedford Blueberry Goat and Lilac Hedge Farm. Visitors can pick up anything from cheeses to chowder to pizza to beverages at this weekly market.

This week, on Saturday, Jan. 17, the Winter Market welcomes not only WOZZ Kitchen Creations, but rescued mini horses from Lucky Horse Equine Rescue. The rescue, from Bolton, finds homes for neglected and abandoned mini horses. And boy, are they cute. You can meet two of them from 11 a.m. to noon at the market.
