Dance and Theater Classes for Children Ages 3-5 in Sudbury!

Upcoming Winter Session Classes

Enchanted Dance – Saturdays 8:30-9:15am (ages 4-5)

A Little Limelight favorite! An introduction to ballet with an emphasis on creative movement. Each class includes a circle warm up, dancing games, ballet center work, across the floor exercises, rehearsal for the final show, and a fun surprise like our obstacle course! Enchanted Dance culminates in a low-key showcase at the studio during the last class where every student dances in a beautiful costume supplied by TPAC!

Stomp & Hop! – Fridays 1:15-2:00pm (ages 4-5)

Is your child a mover and a shaker? Does s/he dance around the kitchen singing, twirling, and having a ball grooving to the beat? Our new "Stomp and Hop!" class is geared towards the young and the groovy! This is a casual dance class where tap and hip-hop are explored through games, creative movement, tons of fun and upbeat music, and lots of freedom of movement! Dress code is comfy attire in addition to tap shoes and clean indoor sneakers. Families will be invited to the last fifteen minutes of the final class for a low-key demonstration!

Dance & Tumble – Saturdays 9:15-10:00am (ages 4-5)

An introduction to Acro (flexibility, strengthening, coordination, basic tricks, and more) with an emphasis on creative movement! Using fun props, music and games, each class is filled with excitement, music, and movement from a qualified TPAC instructor! Families will be invited to the last fifteen minutes of the final class for a low-key demonstration!

Musical Theater – Wednesdays 2:00-2:45pm (ages 4-5) / Fridays 2:00-2:45pm (ages 3-4)

This class incorporates singing, dancing, and acting using popular Broadway themes! The class includes a simple dance warm up, opportunities for solo and group singing, drama games, learning simple dance steps to familiar Broadway songs, and acting out our favorite stories. Musical Theater culminates in a low-key showcase at the studio during the last class where every student will dance, have an opportunity to sing a solo, and perform in our signature "story theater"!

Ballet/Tap – Fridays 3:00-3:45pm (ages 3-5)

An introduction to the steps and grace of ballet and the rhythm of tap! Fundamentals are taught using games, props, and fun exercises. Ballet/Tap culminates in a low-key showcase at the studio during the last class where every student dances in a beautiful costume supplied by TPAC!

The Performing Arts Connection in Sudbury is proud to offer a unique program designed specifically for children ages 6 and under called "Little Limelight". Students will work closely with caring, adult instructors in every class. Students are introduced to dance and theatrical concepts through a lively and unhurried curriculum. Our goal is to nurture your child's creativity and confidence while encouraging a love and appreciation for the arts. "Little Limelight" allows our youngest students to experience the joy of movement, theater and dance in a relaxed, warm, and caring setting! Our program is the perfect first step in your child’s performing arts education!
