Don't Miss: Annual Wayland Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony, Event

The tributes start at 8:30 a.m. and the parade takes off from the high school at 11 a.m.

Be sure to get your blankets and folding chairs ready to plop along the parade route.

Wayland’s annual Memorial Day Parade and festivities are being planned for Monday, May 25.

The parade steps off at 11 a.m. from the Middle School and proceeds along Route 27 to Route 30 to the Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.

Here is the schedule, as posted by the Public Ceremonies Committee:

EARLY MORNING CEREMONIES
Brief Tributes to Veterans in each Cemetery
8:30 a.m. - Ceremony at St. Zepherin’s Cemetery (Bent Avenue)
8:50 a.m. - Ceremony at WWII Memorial (Opposite the Villa)
9:15 a.m. - Ceremony at South Cemetery (Route 27 South)
9:45 a.m. -Ceremony at North Cemetery (Route 27 North)
10:15 a.m. - Ceremony at Wayland Veterans Memorial, Wayland Town Building
