EFFECTIVE SOON: Mandatory Water Ban
The mandatory water ban goes into effect in August. Only handheld hoses are allowed.
Officials from the Town of Wayland announced on Thursday that a mandatory water ban will soon be in effect.
Effective Aug. 5, the use of all above ground and underground lawn sprinklers is prohibited.
Outdoor watering is limited to hand watering only, and underground and above ground sprinklers are prohibited until the ban is lifted.
