Elevated Fire Danger Friday For Much Of MA

Warm and dry conditions have created an increased danger for fire, say officials.

MASSACHUSETTS—Much of the state is under enhanced fire danger on Friday, according to officials.

Middlesex and Worcester counties are among those areas affected by the slightly above-normal temperatures, with dry air leading to very low minimum relative humidity values.

These warm and dry conditions will lead to an enhanced risk of fire spread, according to this warning on National Weather Service.
