Eco-Art Lab: Artist-in-Residence Program

Local artist Jason Fitz-Gerald will serve as the artist-in-residence. He will be on hand, creating original artwork from discarded and recyclable materials in the community.

FireSeed Arts founders Dan Balter of Wayland and Peter Vazquez of Randolph will also be on-hand and will join Fitz-Gerald in talking about the eco-art movement with visitors at the Wayland Transfer station. (For more on Fireseed, Balter and Vazquez, check out .)

Jason Parris Fitz-Gerald since youth has been involved with theatre, photography, writing, filmmaking and art. The creative kernel took root and flowered into many disciplines that served him well. In his creative quest the objective is to embrace the experiences and become fortified with their encouragement, to make the journey a colorful and interesting one.
