Womans Club features talk on Genealogy by Patricia Stano-Carpenter, President of Massachusets Society of Genealogists, Inc.

The Sudbury Womans Club's March 15th meeting will be at the Memorial Congregational Church located at 26 Concord Rd, Sudbury (just up the street from our usual meeting place of the Goodnow Library) at noon and will feature Patricia Stano-Carpenter speaking on Genealogy.  Pat is the President of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, Inc.  and she will be bringing two of the five chapter presidents with her,  Sharon Christenson of the Middlesex Chapter and Karen Trearchis of the Merrimack Valley Chapter.  The program is an hour talk with video presentation, a beginner's guide for those getting into genealogy. It doesn't mean those who are already researching their genealogy or those whose family members have done genealogy will not be interested. For them, it may be a refresher or encourage them to continue the search for new information.

The Sudbury Womans Club meets monthly from October to May on the third Thursday with most of the meetings at the Goodnow Library (except for March!!).  Sudbury and Wayland women are invited to attend our next meeting (and possibly join the club)  at  the Goodnow Library (parking is available at the rear)  which is located at 21 Concord Road  in Sudbury, just off the Boston Post Road (#US 20) in the town's business center.
