Fall Explorers Club Held Early Release Wednesdays
Children in grades 3-5 explore and create with Naturalist and Artist Jess Lerner at Wolbach Farm, Sudbury
Enroll your children grades 3-5 for this great after-school program on early-release Wednesdays this fall. Wednesdays, 10/8, 10/22, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19 & 12/10. 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Students will learn the skills and techniques of working with natural materials to make art both in studio and in natural spaces. Taking full advantage of fall colors and mild weather, students will have the opportunity to explore SVT land, learn some outdoor safety skills, practice naturalist journaling with pencil and water colors, and create weekly nature galleries along SVT trails. Each student receives (with an option to purchase) an Explorer Backpack, with naturalist and artist materials, such as magnifying glass, drawing journal, water colors, collecting jar, etc. Co-sponsored with Musketaquid Arts & Environment. Class requires a minimum of 6; advance registration is required by October 1. SVT Members: $110, Non-Members: $125 (for six sessions)
