Fall Floral Design Classes at Russell's

Join our Flower Shop designers on a Wednesday or Sunday morning, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 Noon, for a series of floral design classes. No experience needed, just an interest in flowers and creating something beautiful. Fee of $45.00 per class covers all materials and fresh flowers to be used. At the end of each class, you will have your own creative arrangement to take home.

Sept. 24 & 28: Long & Low Centerpiece. Please Register by Sept. 22

Learn basic flower arranging techniques in this class: choosing containers, selecting flowers & greens. Apply the correct principles to create a low finished piece, appropriate for your dining or coffee table.

Oct. 1 & 5: Basket Arrangement. Please Register by Sept. 26

Learn the mechanics of creating a fresh floral arrangement in a basket: taping, greening & flower selections. Take home a rustic piece that celebrates the colors of autumn.

Oct. 8 & Oct. 15: Glass Cube. Please Register by Oct. 3

Learn the mechanics of designing in a wide-mouthed container. This class will focus on a 5 x 5 glass cube which can be a challenge, but we will show you several designs including a “Martha Stewart” style which will give you confidence preparing a successful piece to take home.

Oct. 22 & Oct. 26: Topiary Cylinder. Please Register by Oct. 17

Enjoy a creative twist when you join our designers for this fresh floral topiary class. This design is perfect for a centerpiece, or a decorative focal point in the kitchen, on a buffet table or anywhere in your home that would benefit from a strong vertical accent and a pop of fun color.
