Fire Log: A Burned Out Canoe and Well-Being Checks

The Wayland Fire Department answered 50 calls for assistance during the week of May 28-June 3, 2012. This is a summary of those incidents, excepting training and system maintenance calls:

4:39 p.m. - Commonwealth Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Framingham

5:14 a.m. - 41 Three Ponds Rd, caller reported inside odor of smoke

6:28 a.m. - Highgate Rd, accidental activation of life line

8:29 a.m. - Center St, well being check

9:55 a.m. - 86 Claypit Hill Rd, fire drill

11:52 a.m. - 60 Fuller Rd, caller reported a canoe was stolen and the burned

3:07 p.m. - Main St, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

3:35 p.m. - 115 Boston Post Rd, assist with vehicle lockout

3:37 p.m. - 31 Main St, service call

6:19 p.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

9:16 p.m. - 41 Three Ponds Rd, service call

4:45 a.m. - Commonwealth Rd, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital

10 a.m. - Main St, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

12:26 p.m. - 79 Old Sudbury Rd, motor vehicle accident, no injuries reported

1:53 p.m. - 18 Lake Rd, activation of smoke detector, no problem found

10:44 p.m. - 44 School St Weston, mutual aid to the Town of Weston

11:38 p.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick
