First Parish’s annual Rummage Sale has been a Wayland institution since 1944 when it was introduced by our Women’s Alliance.
The gates open at 9:00 a.m. — at the stroke of our Paul Revere bell — and the Sale closes at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $2.00; children are free with an adult. Except for several handicap parking spots, parking is NOT available in the church parking lot. Please park in the public parking lot behind the Wayland Town Building. A police officer will help visitors cross the street to the Sale. Our buildings are fully accessible, with ramps to our side entrance and an elevator that provides access to both buildings.
New This Year!
As a special welcome to families, and to celebrate First Parish’s 375th anniversary, all children will receive a free pinwheel and a one-dollar coupon to spend at the Sale. Our Bake and Snack Sale will feature coffee this year (as well as water at no charge). A portion of the proceeds from the Bake and Snack Sale will go to the Wayland Community Fund, which provides short-term emergency financial help to Wayland residents.
