Great Native Plants for Your Landscape!

Wed., April 6: A presentation by Peter van Berkum of Van Berkum Nursery at Russell's Garden Center.

On Wednesday April 6 at 6:30, Peter van Berkum of Van Berkum Nursery will be speaking at Russell’s Garden Center on native perennial plants. Peter and his wife Leslie started Van Berkum Nursery in 1987. A major focus of their operation has become native perennials and they have established a line of woodland plants called “New England Woodlanders “ that includes Trillium grandiflora, Cornus canadensis, Asarum canadensis and many more.

Peter’s talk will introduce you to the many native perennials that are problem-solving plants, durable, easy to grow and most importantly attract pollinators such as honey bees and Monarch butterflies.

This event is free and open to the public.

Seating is limited and pre-registration is recommended.

For more information and to pre-register, call Marie Winter at Russell's:  508-358-2283 x 394
