'Health Episode' Closes Wayland Street For Hours: Police
Wayland, Framingham and state police responded to the incident along West Plain Street.

WAYLAND, MA — A person's "health episode" led local police to close down a major Wayland street for more than six hours on Monday night.
According to Wayland police, a person living near the corner of West Plain Street and Route 126/Old Connecticut Path began experiencing the episode around 5:15 p.m. The street remained closed to traffic until the situation was resolved around 11:30 p.m.
"As a precautionary measure the street was closed to traffic until our first responders demobilized at approximately 11:30 p.m.," Wayland police Lt. Ed Burman said.

Burman said the department appreciated the public's cooperation during the incident, but did not provide any further details about what happened.
In addition to Wayland police and fire personnel, Framingham and state police responded to the incident.
