Help Shape the Future of Your Library

Wayland residents are encouraged to participate in the Wayland Library needs-assessment survey.

The Wayland Free Public Library is conducting a town-wide survey to learn how it can best serve Wayland residents. The needs assessment will help inform planning relative to the Library’s services, collections, and facility. It will also be used by a newly formed library planning committee in its evaluation of the Library’s space needs and the current building on Concord Road.

The library has hired an objective research team from the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute to design and administer this confidential survey. A survey will be sent to every household in Wayland. One person from each household is encouraged to return the survey by mail or complete it online. A link to the survey will be available on the Library’s website at waylandlibrary.org. Residents are also invited to complete the survey on a computer at the Library. The deadline for completion is April 10.

For more information, please contact Aida Gennis, Chair of the Board of Library Trustees, at wgs3155@gmail.com or Ann Knight, the Director of the Library, at (508) 358-2311 or aknight@minlib.net.
