Holiday Events at Peace Lutheran Church

Peace Lutheran Church, at 107 Concord Road in Wayland, will host its annual Advent Fair this Sunday, Dec. 7, from 10:45 am - 1:00 pm. Participating in the fair will be handcraft vendors and artists, homemade treats for purchase, Fair Trade coffee and chocolates, items benefitting Family Promise Metrowest, handcrafted bags from India by EarthFrendz, and a free holiday activity for children sponsored by Beehive Art.

In addition, the annual Stämbandet will take place at 4:30 that afternoon. Stämbandet is an a cappella ensemble and a World Music vocal group that presents songs rarely heard outside of Iceland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden.

A number of the Advent Fair vendors will be available before and after the concert, as well. Tickets for the concert can be purchased online at www.stambandet.org or at the door the afternoon of the concert. The Advent Fair is free and open to all.
