It’s been shown that kids, especially those who are struggling or shy, remarkably open up and read better when they read to a dog. Hey, the dog won’t judge, and seems to always love the story.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Wayland Free Library, from 1-2 p.m., kids are invited to sign up for a 15-minute slot with Lily, a beautiful black labradoodle.
