Last Chance: Book Fair, Football and Cheerleading
A few deadlines to keep in mind this week.

- Wayland's Board of Selectmen has to the state auditor in regards to a request for an audit of Wayland's fee-based school programs. The deadline to submit info is Wednesday, May 30.
- The deadline to register for Wayland-Weston Youth Football and Cheerleading is Thursday, May 31. After the 31st, wait-listed players will be offered the opportunity to play on the team-level above them as space is available.
- The Book Fair will be open until Friday, June 1. This is a perfect time to stock up on your summer reading books while supporting the local PTO at the same time.
- Long-time Wayland Middle School Band Teacher Diane Muffitt is retiring. On Saturday, June 2, current and former students will have their "last chance" to celebrate her career and wish her well. There will be a special performance with Muffitt directing current and former students. RSVP for the celebration online.
