Last Chance: Summer Programs, Award Nominations

Here's a look at a few deadlines this week that we don't think you'll want to miss. If you know of a deadline that we didn't list here, please share it in the comments below.

• Nominations for the 2012 River Steward Award are due today, April 9. They must be dropped off (it's too late to mail them) to Betsy Sluder at 63 Coppermine Road, Concord. Nomination papers are at the Concord-Carlisle League of Women Voters website.
• The Unsung Heroes Award nominations are also due today, April 9. More information is available here. This award recognizes students who have completed 50 or more hours of community service from April 1, 2011-April 1, 2012.
• The deadline to register for Pegasus Summer Programs is Friday, April 13. The program is for students in preschool through those entering seventh grade. For information or registration forms, contact Pegasus Administrative Assistant Julie Potter at 508-655-8146 or Julie_Potter@wayland.k12.ma.us. The calendars of Pegasus events/activities for preschool through fifth grade and sixth and seventh grade are included with this article.
