Man Arrested in Spree of Grocery Store Thefts

The man was arrested in connection with thefts that spanned over months from Wayland, Natick and Framingham Stop & Shops.

WAYLAND, NATICK, FRAMINGHAM, MA -- A Southborough man has been arrested in connection with a spree of grocery store thefts in Wayland, Natick and Framingham Stop & Shop locations.

Christopher J. Rose, 44, of Southborough, has been charged with four counts of shoplifting and one count of attempt to commit a crime for incidents that occurred in Wayland between September and December 2015.

On Oct 8, 2015, the Wayland Police Department began an investigation in cooperation with Stop & Shop Supermarket Asset Protection, regarding numerous thefts from the Wayland, Framingham and Natick Stop & Shop Supermarket locations.
