Man Identified in Wednesday's Deadly Crash
Wayland Police have identified the man who died in a crash on Main Street in Wayland.

The 76-year-old Wayland man who was killed in a crash in Wayland on Wednesday has been identified by police. Adam E. Krauss, 76, of 33 Lakeview Road, died after injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle collision on Route 27, said police.
The other driver involved in the crash, Michael W. Edson, age 59, of 20 Brook St., Ashland, was not injured.
At approximately 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Wayland Police responded to a car accident that occurred on Main Street (Route 27) near the intersection of King Street. A nearly head-on crash had occurred in the southbound lane of Main Street involving a 1998 Toyota Corolla and a 2004 Chevrolet C65 box truck, said police.

Krauss, who drove the Corolla, sustained serious injuries and was transported by Wayland Fire Department to Framingham Union Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wayland Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team. No charges have been filed and none are anticipated.
