Meet Firefighters, Sparky the Fire Dog, at Wayland FD's Annual Open House
The event invites visitors to explore the trucks, meet with firefighters, enjoy pizza and learn about fire safety.

WAYLAND, MA—Sponsored by the Wayland Firefighter Association, the Wayland Fire Department opens its doors to Wayland and neighboring residents on Saturday, Oct. 1, for an annual open house.
All children will receive free fire helmets, stickers and fire safety materials. Stay for a free pizza lunch donated by Papa Gino’s pizza.
Other features include visits with Sparky the Fire Dog, talk with firefighters, exploring the fire trucks and ambulance, operate a real fire hose, try on fire gear, explore informative displays, take home fire safety materials, enjoy face painting and more.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wayland Fire Headquarters, 38 Cochituate Road.
