Memorial Day 2016: Weekend, Holiday Forecast In Wayland
Weather forecasters have made their predictions for Memorial Day weekend. Here's what you need to know.

WAYLAND, MA — If you're planning on spending time outside on Memorial Day, you may want to bring an umbrella with you.
Memorial Day is a weekend for paying tribute to our fallen soldiers, the unofficial start of summer and the day to break out your freshest pair of white pants.
But the weather may not cooperate with this year's festivities.
Showers and thunderstorms could threaten outdoor activities and travel plans during the extended weekend, according to the a Weather.com forecast. As of Wednesday's forecast, storms and showers are expected to hit Wayland Friday morning, Sunday night and early Monday.
While each day is not expected to be a washout, area residents will need to be prepared to bring outdoor celebrations inside at the first sound of thunder.
But despite the rain, temperatures will remain in the 70s and 80s throughout the weekend, according to Weather.com
Here is the complete forecast:
Friday: Isolated thunderstorms in the morning will give way to partly cloudy skies later in the day with a high temperature of 84 degrees. There will be a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a stray chance of a shower or thunderstorm. There will be a 20 percent chance of precipitation with a low temperature around 65.
Saturday: Partly, with a high near 89 degrees. There will be a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 65 degrees. There will be a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
Sunday: Partly cloudy morning skies will become cloud afternoon skies with a high near 73. Chance of precipitation will be 10 percent.
Sunday night: Cloudy skies with a few showers coming late at night and a low temperature of 56 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Memorial Day: Early morning showers will become less numerous throughout the day. Thunder is a possibility. Forecast calls for a high temperature near 79. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
