Moodz Spa Education Scholarship

If you’re ready to begin a fulfilling and rewarding career in cosmetology, it all begins with choosing a cosmetology school that’s right for you. If you are worried about finding the money to pay for cosmetology school tuition, Moodz Salon and Spa would like to help!

Moodz believes in the importance of education and empowering young individuals to be highly motivated and follow their dreams.

Because of this, we are offering two $500.00 scholarships to high school graduates with the desire to enter the cosmetology field!

Two scholarship winners will be chosen and notified by email. All Scholarships are funded and administered by Karen Laroche, owner of Moodz Salon and Spa of Wayland and Acton, Ma.

Scholarships funds awarded must be used in the 2015 academic calendar year.

Applicants:

- Must have high school diploma or GED

- Must be enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a cosmetology related program with plans to study Nail technology, Hair Design, Esthetics or Massage Therapy

- Must complete and submit an application form which can be found on our website at www.moodzsalonandspa.com

- Must have 1 letter of reference

- Must complete a 500 word typed essay

Application Deadline: November 21st 2014

Please answer one of the three essay questions in a typed 500-word essay. Please do not exceed 1,000 words.

1. Why are you pursuing a cosmetology degree and how will you use your degree to better the lives of others?

2. Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced your development

3. What does beauty mean to you?
