More Than Half Without Power in Wayland
The storm knocked out power for many in Wayland.
It was swift but destructive.
The storm that blasted through this afternoon ripped down tree limbs and power lines.
Eversource, at 5:45 p.m., reported that 2,835 of its 5,547 customers in Wayland were without power.
Eversource does not indicate a restore time.
