Neighbor Brigade Announces This Year's Pam's Run

The annual Pam’s Run is dedicated to the memory and legacy of Pam Manikas Washek, who founded Neighbor Brigade, which helps families who find themselves in a sudden state of crisis - both financial and emotional.

“She founded Neighbor Brigade to help those in crisis manage both emergency and routine needs, with services provided by fellow community members,” reads the website. “It is a simple idea with tremendous impact in providing relief while strengthening the fabric of a community. Pam’s Run will raise funds to keep her dream going and growing so that no one needs to face crisis alone.”

Pam’s Run happens on Oct. 18 this year, starting at 10 a.m. at the Claypit School in Wayland.
