WAYLAND, MA—A CVS is on its way to open in Wayland.
On July 19, the Building Department issued a building permit to construct a CVS drugstore and site improvements as controlled by the approved site plan.
The demolition of the existing commercial building (formerly Finnerty’s Restaurant) will require a separate building permit.
Pursuant to §198-604.9.1 of Town zoning, “Upon denial or issuance of any required building permits, any person aggrieved by a decision of the Building Commissioner may appeal the site plan decision of the Planning Board to the ZBA pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A, Section 8.”
