New Senior Pastor called at Trinitarian Congregational Church (TCC)
Rev. Dr. Tom Petter begins on June 4th at TCC

TCC is delighted to announce that Rev. Dr. Thomas Petter has accepted the call to serve as Trinitarian Congregational Church (TCC)’s next Senior Pastor. Born and raised in French-speaking Switzerland, Tom first came to the U.S. in 1986. He has served as TCC’s Interim Senior Pastor, and is an Associate Professor of Old Testament and the Chair of the Division of Biblical Studies at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS). Tom comes to TCC with a combination of gifts and passions for teaching, leadership and missions.
Tom and his wife, Dr. Donna Petter, Director of the Hebrew Language Program and Associate Professor of Old Testament at GCTS, had previously served as Pastoral Associates at TCC and were ordained here in 2012. They have a son, Marcus, and currently live in Hamilton, MA. The Petters’ have served in various capacities at local churches and were part of the leadership team that planted North Point Presbyterian Church in Peabody, MA. They are also collaborating on a forthcoming commentary for Ezra-Nehemiah (New International Application Commentary, Zondervan). As Tom and Donna near the 30-year mark of ministering together, their passion remains strong to disciple people through the Word of God within the context of the local church, the seminary, and on the mission field.
Tom officially begins as full-time Senior Pastor on June 4th, 2017. An Installation Service is planned for the fall.
