Owl Hit By Car Is Doing Okay: Police
Wayland police said the feathery friend was treated and released. Owl is well that ends well.

WAYLAND, MA- After being hit by a car Tuesday night, one lucky Owl in Wayland is free to fly home.
Police officers got a call at 7 p.m. on Tuesday reporting a car hitting an animal on Old Connecticut Path and Forest Hill Road. They found a barred owl with no visible injuries.
Officers called in local bird expert Allison Weber who took the owl in and nursed it back to health. The owl was treated and released- steering clear of the roads.
