PD Hosts Free Car Seat Safety Event
Be sure you're installing your child's car seat correctly.
Statistically speaking, it’s often reported that more often than that, we’re installing our kids’ car seats incorrectly. Parenting Magazine reported that as high as 95 percent of parents are making mistakes with putting car seats in, and there are 4 or 5 crashes a day involving kids in car seats.

The Wayland Police Department is hosting a free car safety event on Friday, Jan. 10, from 2-4 p.m. at the police station.
The program is funded by the Highway Safety Division of EOPSS. Drop by to learn how to install that seat correctly.
