PD Reports Numerous Car Breaks in Wayland Neighborhood

Approximately 30 unlocked vehicles had items stolen from them over the weekend. Criminal charges are pending against two juveniles.

Wayland police are warning of a recent burglary spree in town where some 30 cars were broken into in the West Plain Street area.

On Saturday, June 27, numerous motor vehicle burglaries were reported.

During an investigation, a male juvenile and female juvenile were named as suspects and criminal charges are pending.

Some stolen items have been recovered, but not identified by their owners. Police ask that anyone who had their vehicle entered over the weekend, who has not reported it, to contact Detective Chris Cohen at 508-358-4721.
