The hot sun is making it difficult to remember that it's only mid-April in Wayland and chilly days could still be ahead.

Whatever temperatures the next several days will bring, Tuesday brought highs in the upper 70s and a clear sunny day that drew some early-season sunbathers and a few brave splashers to the Wayland Town Beach.
