Photos: Wayland's Spookiest Couple

Looking for a scare this week? Drive by Laurianne Bonadio and Sean Flanagan's house in Wayland for an eyeful.

WAYLAND, MA — Relationships can be pretty scary, just ask local couple Laurianne Bonadio and Sean Flanagan.

The pair have been going all-out for Halloween for about a decade, decorating their Wayland home with everything from giant werewolves to killer clowns (no word on whether the clowns are from outer space).

Bonadio and Flanagan have been together since high school, according to local author Janice Berte, who spoke to the couple and snapped a few photos recently. The display takes about two weeks to set up.

"We have 33 characters so far, and have been setting up Halloween scenes for about 10 years. Sean and I just love seeing the kids and adults who get their pictures taken with their favorite characters," Bonadio told Berte.

The zombies are the most popular feature, Bonadio told Berte. You can lumber your way over to see the display at 106 Commonwealth Road — if you dare.
