PJ Library Sukkot Celebration at the Shillman House

Join Jewish Family Network for a celebration of Sukkot with the PJ Library and MetroWest Jewish Day School at the Shillman House.

Join Jewish Family Network for a celebration of Sukkot with the PJ Library and MetroWest Jewish Day School at the Shillman House (49 Edmands Road) in Framingham on Sunday, September 27 from 2:30-4pm. Sukkot is a joyful festival of giving thanks for the fall harvest and commemorates the Israelites forty years of wandering in the desert. A sukkah reminds us of the temporary shelters in which they dwelled during their travels. Together at this inter-generational event, participants will decorate a community sukkah, sing songs, hear stories and share the festivities of this harvest holiday. Geared for families with children ages 2+ years. Cost is $10/family (not able to accommodate walk-ins on day of the event). Space is limited. Please register by September 24 at bostonjcc.org/MWSukkot2015. For more information, contact metrowest@jccgb.org or 508-879-3300. All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts.
