Police Arrest Same Man Twice in 20 Hours

Wayland Police arrested John Kerrigan of 1 Aspen Road in Weston twice in less than 24 hours last week.
The Wayland Police Log records that Kerrigan, 29, was first arrested Jan. 4 at about 8:30 a.m. At that time, Kerrigan was charged with domestic assault and battery and intimidation of a witness.
A police press release said that about 19 hours later, police responded to a 911 call regarding a restraining order violation at 6 Sedgemeadow Road. On the way to the scene, one officer was forced off the road by the suspect who was fleeing the scene in a vehicle traveling without its headlights on and at a "high rate of speed" in the middle of the road.

Kerrigan was later arrested and charged with violation of a restraining order, operating to endanger, operating a motor vehicle without headlights, speeding, and failure to keep right for oncoming vehicle.
