Police Log: Arrests, Fireworks and A Suspicious Ice Cream Truck

  • 15 Linn Lane; June 19, 2:12 a.m. - Caller reported hearing four gunshots. Police located firework remnants.
  • 38 Cochituate Road; June 19, 7:59 a.m. - Arrest of Charles Slater on charges of larceny over $250 (two counts), larceny under $250, uttering false witness and forgery. See "" for more info.
  • Meadowview Road; June 20, 1:28 p.m. - NSTAR tree clearing equipment vandalized.
  • 27 Parkland Drive; June 20, 5:25 p.m. - An ice cream truck without the proper permits was selling goods at the Town Beach. The truck was gone when officers arrived.
  • 7 Old Sudbury Road; June 22, 7:40 a.m. - Arrest of Cleidson Dasilva Maximo, 34, of Natick, on charges of driving after revocation and an equipment violation.
  • 221 Concord Road; June 23, 5:42 a.m. - Report of numerous smashed mailboxes including those at this address, 223, 297 and 301 on Concord Road; 53 Sherman Bridge Road; and 95 Claypit Hill Road. At least two boxes appeared to have been hit be a vehicle.
  • 21 Leary St.; June 26, 8:28 a.m. - Police arrested Jennifer Coppell on a warrant issued for failure to appear on numerous criminal charges. Police arrested Coppell, a Wayland resident, and transported her to Framingham District Court. Coppell was arrested in May on multiple credit card-related charges.
  • Glezen Lane; June 26, 8:26 a.m. - Caller reported a 2 or 3-year-old boy holding a juice box and standing close to the road.
