Police Log: A Fight, An Arrest and Animal Troubles
(Log for May 8-14, 2012) The following information was supplied by the Wayland Joint Communications Center. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

- 68 Old Connecticut Path; May 8, 7:24 p.m. - A caller reported a male crouching in the bushes around a house. Upon investigation, police determined it was the homeowner working in the yard.
- 44 Boston Post Road; May 9, 11:19 a.m. - Report that a driver lost control and crashed the vehicle into the bushes in front of a the store. The driver left the scene.
- 61 Three Ponds Road; May 9, 3:11 p.m. - A caller reported a coyote in the yard. Police found "a baby fox" and it was "shooed away."
- 30 Riverview Avenue; May 11, 6:52 p.m. - Caller reported a fight in progress. Two females were fighting while two males watched. A male and female fled together in a green pickup, and the other male and female returned to their home across the street.
- 10 Draper Road; May 12, 8:28 a.m. - Caller requested assistance because "her dog's leg is stuck in the table."
- 116 Boston Post Road; May 12, 10 a.m. - Report of a small greyhound running in and out of the road.
- 412 Commonwealth Road; May 13, 9:40 a.m. - Report of a man sleeping on the ground inside the barrier of the Loker Conservation Area. He was advised to move on.
- 38 Cochituate Road; May 14, 10:48 a.m. - Arrest of Jennifer Coppell, 32, on multiple charges. See "Woman Arrested on Multiple Credit Card-Related Charges" for more information.
