Police Log: An Angry 'Bird' and Vehicle Breaks

  • 49 Cochituate Road; April 24, 8:54 a.m. - A person came into the station to report that a truck had slipped out of gear and rolled into a tree at Trinitarian Congregational Church.
  • 31 Main Street; April 26; 10:18 a.m. - Report of The Goddard School sign being taken or missing.
  • 2 Oak Hill Road; April 26, 7:47 p.m. - Caller reported a broken basement window.
  • Boston Post Road; April 28, 1:46 a.m. - Sudbury Police reported street sign debris in the road and the license plate number of the suspected vehicle. Detour signs and No Passing signs were damaged.
  • 40 Old Connecticut Path; April 28, 11:30 a.m. - Caller reported a yard sale in progress and "believed that shouldn't be allowed in Wayland."
  • Old Sudbury Road; April 28, 12:26 p.m. - Police responded to a report of a car driving down the road while a door kept opening and closing. Police determined that a bed was tied to the roof and prevented the door from staying closed.
  • 48 Lake Shore Drive; April 29, 12:06 p.m. - Motor vehicle breaking and entering reported.
  • Glezen Lane; April 29, 12:49 p.m. - Caller reported that a driver tailgated and then, "flipped him the bird."
  • 197 Main Street; April 29, 7:46 p.m. - Stolen bike reported.
  • 66 Hawthorne Road; April 30, 8:11 p.m. - Caller reported someone possibly entered their vehicle overnight and stole change. The car door was left unlocked.
