Police Log: Aqueduct Camping and Suspicious Teenagers (March 21-26)

- Trinity Place; March 21, 3:57 p.m. - Caller reported spotting a 9- to 10-year-old male operating a Bobcat with a 6-year-old riding in the bucket. Police could not locate anything.
- 310 Commonwealth Road; March 22, 1:30 a.m. - Caller reported a red car parked in the Mel's lot. The driver's door was open and a male party was inside, possibly passed out. Police located nothing upon arrival.
- 11 Wampum Path; March 22, 4:45 p.m. - Caller reported people trespassing on his property. Parties were gone when officers arrived.
- 140 Old Connecticut Path; March 23, 4:53 p.m. - Arrest of Diane Baptiste, 65, of 15 Porter St., Woburn, following a traffic stop. An officer stopped Baptiste for speeding and, upon performing a license and warrant check, found an outstanding warrant on Baptiste. She was arrested on the warrant.
- 19 Maguire Road; March 22, 10:30 p.m. - Arrest of Joe Nolan, 47. Nolan was arrested and charged with violation of a restraining order.
- 140 Old Connecticut Path; March 24, 1:53 a.m. - Party reported that she believed someone to be camping on the aqueduct behind her home. The caller said the campers had a constantly barking dog. Officers found nothing upon arrival.
- 211 Lake Shore Drive; March 24, 1:13 p.m. - A caller reported a pothole that had become a road hazard; it was confirmed as a sink hold and the Highway Department was notified.
- 73 Sears Road; March 24, 8:29 p.m. - Teenagers acting suspiciously reported.
- 264 Old Connecticut Path; March 25, 12:10 a.m. - A caller reported the erratic operation of a vehicle. Police responded and issued a summons to the driver for minor possession of alcohol, transporting of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. A summons for the passenger was also issued for minor possession of alcohol.
- 18 Plain Road; March 26, 9:23 a.m. - Caller said someone called claiming to be from Publisher's Clearinghouse the day before. The person said they would be at the house at 10:30 a.m. to deliver a new Mercedes and cash. The person who called police said she had not entered any contests and asked to talk with an officer.
- 30 Rich Valley Road; March 26, 12:45 p.m. - A jogger reported that an older sedan parked now at 30 Rich Valley Road, had struck a mailbox a few houses before, spread the mail around the yard and failed to stop.
