Police Log: Residential Break-Ins and TVs in the Road

  • Michael Road; April 3, 4:53 p.m. - Report of "low-hanging rope" over the railroad tracks. The "rope" was found to be orange caution tape hanging high in the trees and posing no hazard.
  • 222 Commonwealth Road; April 3, 8:31 p.m. - Report of an altercation in front of the home. Police responded and placed Chris Santospago, 49, of 410 Western Ave., Brighton, under arrest for violation of a restraining order.
  • 25 Wayland Hills Road; April 3, 10:41 p.m. - Homeowner report of a broken basement window and visible footprints outside. Logged as "vandalism." 
  • 9 Mitchell Street; April 4, 10:34 p.m. - Report of a male party in the middle of the street.
  • 164 Oxbow Road; April 5, 2:06 p.m. - Report of illegal dumping.
  • 6 Sedgemeadow Road; April 5, 3:44 p.m. - Caller reported coming home to find a slash in her screen door and a few documents missing.
  • 21 Leary Street; April 5, 4:32 p.m. - Report of "people throwing things out windows." No suspicious activity was observed as people appeared to be cleaning windows.
  • 40 Bow Road; April 6, 8:08 p.m. - "Partially alive skunk" in the roadway.
  • Pelham Island Road; April 7, 8:22 a.m. - Report of someone blowing leaves into the conservation area. Logged as "illegal dumping."
  • 38 Cochituate Road; April 9, 3:32 p.m. - Arrest of Giacomo Cincotti. See "."
  • 131 Pelham Island Road; April 9, 8:53 p.m. - Report of several TVs in the roadway.
  • 6 Loker Street; April 10, 9:12 a.m. - Report of tagging. Logged as "Vandalism."
  • 307 Old Connecticut Path; April 10, 9:32 p.m. - Caller reported her back door was smashed in. Logged as "B&E Residence."
