Police Log: Troublesome Turtles and Stolen Flowers

- 38 Cochituate Road; May 15, 3:44 p.m. - Police assisted a resident with the removal of a ring.
- 124 East Plain Street; May 15, 4:43 p.m. - A report of flowers stolen from the island at the intersection of Commonwealth, Oak and Rice roads.
- 223 Lake Shore Drive; May 16, 2:23 a.m. - Noise complaint called in.
- 6 Loker Street; May 18, 9:25 a.m. - Report of malicious destruction.
- 170 Glezen Lane; May 18, 4:30 p.m. - Caller reported kids playing "ding, dong, ditch" in the area. Nothing was found.
- 317 Boston Post Road; May 18, 10:22 p.m. - Arrest of Paula Bothfeld. Charges include operating under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.
- 38 Cochituate Road; May 19, 2:05 p.m. - Walk-in handed over a purse belonging to a Wayland resident that had been found at The Christmas Tree Store.
- 41 Cochituate Road; May 20, 9:49 a.m. - Report of a turtle in the plan area. An officer was able to move the turtle.
- 284 Main Street; May 20, 10:20 a.m. - Caller said two men were in his front yard. When he approached them, the first person "seemed to signal the second person" who ran from the yard, got into a vehicle and drove off. An investigation revealed that the parties were at the wrong address.
- 268 Boston Post Road; May 20, 6:25 p.m. - Arrest of Katie Sicotte on an oustanding warrant.
- 45 Old Sudbury Road; May 20, 7:15 p.m. - Arrest of Salavat Yakupov. Charges include operating under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation and operating with an open container of alcohol in the car.
- 1 Old Sudbury Road; May 21, 7:25 p.m. - State police said a 911 caller had reported a turtle attempting to cross the road and creating a road hazard.
