Santa's Pre-Christmas Wayland Visit Begins
The 58th Wayland Santa's Ride will mark a return to how the event was held before the pandemic.
WAYLAND, MA — Santa Claus will make a special pre-Christmas visit in Wayland starting Monday evening courtesy of local firefighters.
The Wayland Firefighters Association will continue the long-standing Santa's Ride event this year, the 58th in town history. Over three nights beginning on Monday, Santa will make stops around town so local young people (and adults) can see St. Nick before the big day.
In 2021, Santa will make more than 30 stops across the town. This year also marks a return to the typical stops along Santa's Ride. During the 2020 event, Santa stayed in his sleigh, a measure to keep him safe during the pandemic.
