Sheep Shearing Day
This Saturday, May 17th is Sheep Shearing Day at Charmingfare Farm. Bring the family and experience this old time spring tradition as Jeff Jordon of Side Hill Farm in Chichester, NH shears all the sheep here at the farm. Everyone will be able to watch and ask questions as our sheep's winter locks are removed. It is amazing how different they look once the fleece has been removed. There are not too many people that provide sheep shearing service in NH so Jeff Jordan is providing a valuable service to local sheep owners. Jeff will be here shearing from 10 to 2pm on Saturday. Other activities will include horse-drawn hayrides, tractor train rides, pony rides and visiting all the animals at the zoo. There are lots of new spring babies - so it is a great time to visit.
