UPDATED: Man Arrested in Connection with Wayland Teen's Disappearance

Patch has confirmed the arrest of a 42-year-old man in connection to Wayland teen Allie Loftis' disappearance.

Update: A spokesperson at the Jersey City Police Department confirmed that a 42-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 13-year-old Allie Loftis.

The case has been turned over to the Hudson County District Attorney's Office. Hudson County Assistant Prosector Guy Gregory said charges have not yet been filed, and the office is not commenting on the case at this time.

According to the New York Post story, a tip led authorities to Garzon's Jersey City, N.J., residence where Loftis was staying with a 42-year-old man.

Garzon has been charged with kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a minor and other charges, according to the NY Post. In addition, the residence is being treated as a crime scene.
