Stamford’s Palisades Hudson Promotes Meermann to Vice President

Palisades Hudson Financial Group, a wealth management and financial planning firm, has promoted Eric Meermann from client service manager to vice president. He’ll continue to be the client service executive in charge of the firm's Northeast office and the head of the firm's national business-valuation practice

Palisades Hudson relocated its Northeast office to First Stamford Place on January 3.

Meermann also directs the firm's new Entertainment and Sports Team. Registered with the NFL Players Association as a financial adviser, Meermann will provide complete financial services to metropolitan New York's large community of film, music, television, online video and stage performers, as well as professional athletes and sports executives.

Meermann has been quoted as a financial expert in national media such as The New York Times, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Kiplinger’s Retirement Report and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

A graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business, he joined Palisades Hudson in 2000. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification, the IRS’s Enrolled Agent (EA) designation and the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
